Tytyn hanging out with his Uncle Jacob and Jared.
Tytyn and I went for a walk around their beautiful farm. He has quite the knowledge of how things work on it.
Tyrel giving Russ a lesson in driving a loader!!
This is Tyrel loading here, NOT Russ :)
Dinner with my family.
Jacob's first visit with Grandma Larsen since he returned from his mission.
We also got to spend a night with Sherrie and Dave and catch up with them. On our way back to SL we stopped and visited with Jeff and Karen.
Trent, Elli, Ethan, Jens & Kyler came to visit us for a few days. They did great with all the boating activities. I can't believe how much they've all grown.
Ethan wake boarding
Ethan & Elli knee boarding
We had a get together with the Stake RS Presidency and their spouses at the lake house. We had dinner and played some games. I love these ladies and love working with them!!
I went all out with desserts and made three different ones in "mini" dishes.
I made lemon tarts, chocolate mousse & coconut lime cheesecake.
I'm not really sure where the month of August went??? Fall is definitely starting to be in the air though.
You're the best host and party planner!! Wish those desserts could ship over here easily!! Love you.
ReplyDeleteWe're so glad you guys were able to be here for the blessing! Those desserts look amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading about your August, I thought July might be less busy, but not so! You've had a busy summer. I love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see all you've been up to this past month. You always go all out -- first class --when you entertain. I can't believe those desserts. We love seeing pictures of your grand babies and family.
ReplyDeleteSounds like I need to come visit (or at least share your recipes.)
ReplyDeleteI am drooling just looking at your pictures of your desserts! I loved the pictures on the farm. What a great life! You definitely need to stop by and say hi while you are here dropping of Jacob! I would love to see you and Jacob needs to know where we live in case he needs to get away!
ReplyDeleteThose deserts make my mouth water right now. Good thing you are a long ways away or I would be over to eat.
ReplyDeleteYou are busy with so many good things. So many wonderful events and memories! I am impressed with your dessert making skills. That is so cute that Tytyn knows so much about farming, I bet it was super cute to hear him explain everything. It was so fun to see you at the Homecoming!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kristy, you are the best host and party planner! Those desserts not only looked amazing but tasted even more amazing! The rest of the dinner was fantastic as well, in competition with the best of restaurants! You and Russ sure do make a great team! Jacob even contributed with yummy punch, a recipe from his mission! It was a GREAT night; delicious food, wonderful company and a lot of fun!
