Home Sweet Home

After being gone for 2 weeks it feels good to be home again. I love to go see my kids, grandkids and family, but there is something about your own home that its always nice to be back. I'm so grateful though that I have the health and strength to be able to go and help my kids when they need it & a husband who is so supportive in my decisions.

Wes and Kristy went to Kansas City for 3 days to find a house so I got to watch the 3 oldest kiddos. I forgot how it felt to be a "full time" mom again. I was really tired by the end of each day!

One day I took the kids to Tillamook where my cousin has a dairy farm. He milks over 600 cows twice a day. They sell over 28,000 lbs of milk a day to Tillamook that is mostly used for cheese and ice cream. They loved feeding the calves.

Jazlyn with my cousins youngest daughter.

Here they are in the "rolled" corn and barley they feed the cows.

I was home from Kristy's house for about 12 hours and then Russ and I flew to Utah to attend General Conference. Temple Square was so pretty with all the blossoms and flowers.
We were able to attend the Saturday morning session & then Russ and Jared went to the Priesthood session.
Lexi (just a good friend), Jared and Russ

Sunday morning Russ and I went and watched conference with mom. She seems to be doing so well, its hard to believe she's 91!!

After conference on Sunday we had a family dinner with some of my family.
Tyler, Ashley, Christine and Matt

Here's my brother Moroni, his wife Marcie and my mom.

Jared and my better half!

My dad, Kinsey, & Kennedy, my brothers daughters.

Russ flew home on Monday and I went to Vernal to try and help Lindsey out. Its hard to believe both my daughters are moving at the same time. Tytyn and I got to go on several walks together. The weather was beautiful!!

Mr. Personality!!

While I was visiting Lindsey we took Tytyn to the library to a reptile show. After showing us many lizards, turtles, etc. the man doing the show asked for 3 adult volunteers. I was nice enough to raise Lindsey's hand for her. When she went up there and saw what she'd be handling she made some pretty good faces. This snake was 17 feet long!!!

Is Lindsey looking happy or what??

This little boy was quite concerned about the snake around his mom's leg.

I could barely get Tytyn to touch this smaller snake for a picture.
He wouldn't go anywhere near the one his mom held.

Lindsey looking lovely pregnant!!

This was Tytyn's face when I told him I had to leave to go on the airplane.

There's that cute smile!!

When I got to Heber City I drove to Provo to have lunch with Jared. I was blessed with a beautiful view of Mt. Timpanogas.

Friday evening I flew home and Russ picked me up from the airport. We spent the night in Seattle and attended the Seattle Temple Saturday morning.

What a great way to top off my last couple of weeks. This is Valerie, Wayne and Roberta who have all been baptized in the past two years in our ward. The three of them took out their endowments at the temple today! I've been Valerie's V.T. and Russ & I Wayne's H.T. since they were baptized so it was really special for us to be there with them.

It was a beautiful day in more ways than weather!!
